Jeanne Shanks

Responsibilities:

Jeanne is the General Manager of Shea & Poor insurance, overseeing the daily operations of the agency. In addition, Jeanne services personal lines accounts, backs up commercial lines, and initiates marketing projects aimed at generating both commercial and personal lines growth.

Background:

Jeanne began her insurance career working part-time at Sentry Insurance in Concord during her senior year of high school. She has been in the industry ever since. During her 30-year career, Jeanne has worked as an office manager, account manager, and producer. She was also vice-president of a Sudbury-based agency.

Degrees/honors/community involvement:

Jeanne received her BA from Fitchburg State College, majoring in history. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa, Suma Cum Laude, and was selected for Who's Who Among College Students. She is a licensed property and casualty broker and plans to return to college to pursue a law degree.
